Opening times
The Manor – house and garden – is now open on Wednesday and Saturday afternoons and Bank Holidays 2pm – 5pm until the end of September – please note that last entry to the house is 4.15pm – and during public opening our tearoom is open serving teas, coffee and homemade cakes.
The house is also open (between May and September) outside of public opening, for guided tours for group bookings of 20 or more people by prior appointment (not Sundays). Groups fewer than 20 should consider coming on open days unless they wish to pay for 20 people (minimum charge £340). Guided tours of the house usually last about 1 hour 20mins. Private visits to the garden only can also be made during this time and are also based on groups of 20 or more (minimum charge of £200).
Coaches please book even when we are open but individuals need not book when we are open.
Admission Prices
House and garden: £14.00 per person. Children age 5-15 £7.00. (See left for private visit charges)
Garden only: £10.00 per person. Children age 5-15 £5.00.
Guided tour of garden: £60.00 per 20 people (on top of entry fee).
When booking private visits please make quite clear whether you wish to do the tour of the house and garden or just the garden only.
Refreshments available on most open days and can be organised for groups (20+). Morning coffee £2.40, tea and cakes £6.00.
Charges: all charges to be paid no later than the day of the visit and groups visiting are asked to pay for entrance and refreshments together. Card payments accepted. Cheques payable to J Biddulph please.
